Kumbha Vivah (कुंभ विवाह) & Arkh Vivah (अर्क विवाह):-

Kumbha Vivah & Arkh Vivah

Arkh Vivah (Male) (अर्क विवाह):-

When a horoscope has unfavorable planetary combinations for marriage, indicating potential health or longevity issues for the couple, Arkh Vivah (अर्क विवाह) is suggested. In this ritual, the groom is first married to an Arkh tree before marrying the bride. This is believed to neutralize the negative effects of certain planetary doshas in the horoscope.

This puja is specifically performed for individuals affected by Mangal Dosh (मंगल दोष) to ensure a happy and harmonious married life.

Kumbha Vivah (Female) (कुंभ विवाह):-

India is a land where spirituality is deeply rooted, and every problem is believed to have a spiritual solution. Kumbha Vivah (कुंभ विवाह) is one such unique ritual performed in Indian astrology for those affected by Manglik Dosh.

The term Kumbha Vivah (कुंभ विवाह) is derived from two Sanskrit words: "Kumbha" (Mud Pot) and "Vivah" (Marriage). During matchmaking, Manglik Dosh (मंगलिक दोष) is often considered a major obstacle. Even if a match is perfect in all other aspects, a Manglik individual may face rejection due to this single astrological flaw. Sometimes, there are other unfavorable planetary combinations in the horoscope, such as widowhood or widowerhood, which can have severe consequences on married life.

It is widely believed that a Manglik bride may cause the early death of her husband. To counteract this, she is first married to a tree (such as a banana or peepal tree), an animal, or even an inanimate object. This custom varies in name depending on the symbolic “groom” used in the ritual.

Kumbha Vivah (कुंभ विवाह) is performed when an individual has Manglik or Double Manglik Dosh (मंगलिक दोष) in their horoscope. Manglik Dosh (मंगलिक दोष) is an astrological defect that manifests only after marriage and can negatively impact marital life if not remedied.
